mummification
this comic pictured above is about mummification. it was one of the tasks that was about ancient Egypt. I chose it because I knew nothing about mummies and I wanted to learn about them. It was fun but a little gross. There are two stages of mummification, embalming and wrapping. First you do the embalming and then you do the wrapping. I enjoyed learning this because it was new and interesting to see what they used to do to the deceased.

this is a map of the Congo river. In class me and my partner had to research about this river. Some of the information we found out was that in ran through many different countries, it was used for transport, help with farming, washing and fishing. We also drew the congo river, it was quite hard to draw! The congo river has quite a few sources. Some of the include lake Tanganyika and the North African rift. We learnt a lot about the congo river.
